Munyonyo Commonwealth resort receives Booking.com Global award.

The hotel received the Guest Review Award for 2017 after emerging the winner among several other posh hotels on the continent and worldwide.

Every year, Booking.com celebrates properties with an average review score of 8.0 and above for properties who have ten or more reviews online.

Munyonyo clinched the top awards after an average review score of 8.1 out of 10 online.

Mr Ajit Singh the manager room booking division at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort said ‘’The award is based on the reviews from guests on Booking.com, a digital booking agency based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The website lists more than 1,534,024 properties in 226 countries and territories and books 1,200,000 room nights per day.

When asked about the mood at the top facility Singh said “It’s a great feeling to know that our guests have given us good reviews which shows that we have met their expectations and our guests have enjoyed the facilities and services,” he commented.

Booking.com is an online OTS (Booking engine) where people go to book for hotel services around the world. Established in 1996 in Amsterdam, Booking.com has grown from a small Dutch startup to one of the largest travel e-commerce companies in the world.

About the awards the website acknowledged “We know these properties have offered great guest experiences, and our Guest Review Awards are a great way to showcase this achievement,” Booking.Com said of the award.

Booking.com said the score is based on all reviews that were published on the website during the 24 months preceding November 1, 2017. Eligible partners receive an official certificate and a window sticker, as well as the possibility to share this success virtually on social media using a digital version.
