The bicycle ride will mostly be on unpaved trails. There will be some technical sections and hills to be cleared. The distance will be around 120km and have 1,850 climbing meters. The trail is suitable for mountain- and gravel bikes.

This ride is not for beginners. In order to complete it you need to have a decent level of fitness and have some experience riding a bike.

There shall be experienced guides who will lead the way. If you join a guided group the pace will be set by the guide and the group will stay together. There might be two subgroups that differ in speed. Alternatively you can also ride by yourself using a GPS unit. GPS tracks can be provided 2 days before the start of the event upon request.

Water and snacks will be provided by the support vehicle at rest points. Basic bicycle maintenance support and a medical kit is also available there. For cyclists who can’t or don’t want to continue anymore these rest points offer a bail out option. Cyclists can make use of the support vehicle and have themselves and their bikes transported to the endpoint for free and the partnership with a guesthouse and lodge will enable support of the same cyclists with lunch and accommodation.
