Three Applicants lined up for Giant Uganda Tourism Board Position

Following a letter dated 14th December 2018, signed by Dr Godfrey Mbabazi –Secretary for Public Service Commission.  Upto three lucky candidates were invited for oral interviews as they will be replacing incumbent Uganda Tourism Board chief executive officer Mr Stephen Asiimwe.

Mr Stephen Asiimwe – contract seems to expire soonest as he has showed no interest in renewing following his own reasons. Formerly, managing director and editor in chief of the East African Week newspaper, he joined Uganda tourism board as Executive director in 2014 as approved by the late Tourism minister Maria Mutagamba, replacing Mr Cuthbert Baguma.

Dr Godfrey Mbabazi states that the three candidates who turned up for oral interviews include; Dr Seguya Andrew Ggunga, Ochieng Bradford and Ajarova Lilly.

Dr Seguya Andrew Ggunga is the former Uganda Wildlife Executive Director who was replaced by Mr Sam Mwandha.

Mr Ochieng currently works at the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority as Director of Corporate Affairs.

Ms Ajarova is the current executive director for Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife conservation trust.
