The weekend beginning Friday 13th to Sunday 15th September 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

01. Alikiba Live in Concert at Lugogo Hockey Grounds
Tanzania bongo flava music super star, Alikiba will be performing live in Kampala at Lugogo Hockey Grounds this Friday September 13th, lots of amazing performances from Uganda’s local artistes featuring Sheebah, John Blaq among many more.
The show will be hosted by Comedian Patrick Salvador Idringi. Entrance ; Ordinary Shs30k, VIP Shs80K, Table Shs1M.
02. Ray G Live in Concert at Agip Motel, Mbarara
Western Uganda’s musical sensation, Ray G will this Saturday be live in Concert at Agip Motel Mbarara.
Organised by Awesome Entertainment, the show wil also feature; Spice Diana, Rick Man Rick and Geosteady Blackman.
Ordinary Tickets go for Shs10K while VIP Tickets will cost Shs500K.
03. Little Miss Universe Uganda happening at Wonder world Amusement Park
Eminent Brandz will this Saturday host Little Miss Universe Uganda at Wonderworld Amusement Park.
The event starts at 2pm till 8pm. Get to see who the next Little Miss Universe is at the Season 2, 2019 edition.
04. Back to School Bash at Oasis Dynasty, Adjumani
This Friday, the go back to School bash will be taking place at the Oasis Dynasty Club, Adjumani district featuring; Fresh Kid, Latinum, Machine Gun, and MC Amberson.
Entrance is Shs10K, Doors open by 10AM.
05. Shell Gas Tokosa Food Festival at Sheraton Kampala Hotel
The Shell Gas Tokosa Food Festival is happening at the Sheraton Gardens this Saturday September 14th, 2019 at only 10K & free entry for children aged below 10.
Get to meet and network with the best Chiefs in town while you learn new cooking skills from the experts.
06. Play for Peace basketball Championship at MTN Arena, Lugogo
Join the South Sudan Basket ballers in Uganda while they play a game for peace at the MTN Arena, Lugogo this Thursday starting 9am till 6pm.
Entrance is free for all basketball fans.
07. Rooftop Sundowner Live Performance featuring Okello Lawrence and Izaya
Catch the Rooftop Sundowner Event this Thursday with special performances from renowned Ugandan musicians Okello Lawrence and Izaya starting 6PM. Get to enjoy a drink and meeting new friends while you dive into a vibrant musical fusion of both artists bringing traditional, electronic, and Afro beat sounds together. They recently came back from the ONGALA Festival in Bagamoyo, Tanzania, and took part in the overall Project “URBAN MUSIC REBELS 2019″. It was a cooperation of East-African Goethe-Institutions, hosted by Goethe-Institute Tanzania, to raise a platform for inter-regional and intercultural collaboration in the field of music.
The performance of the artists will be followed by a DJ playlist of great Afro beats-Charts Mix. The Rooftop Sundowners on the GZK/ UGCS rooftop terrace are the perfect way to start the evening before the weekend.
08. Nkozi Bossa Fresh Bite Bash at Your Hostel, Nkozi
Join the dance party, eat, drink and party at the Bbossa Bash with the Ice Dome Experience featuring live mixes from DJ Ssese and DJ Alza while you sip on an Ice Cold Smirnoff Ice Green Apple.

09. Creative Talks Africa at Design Hub
This Friday, catch the Creative Talks Africa sessions hosted at Design Hub Kampala, while they highlight professional East African Culture & Art influencers who are trailblazing within the creative industry to share their ideas, thoughts and experiences with a curious audience intentional about learning and networking.
During this month’s Creative Talks Africa session talks will be based on the power of words. Traditional poetry as well as modern day spoken word and rap. Both written and spoken words have always been used in powerful ways and for many purposes.
The event will kick it off with a provocative talk from Philip Matogo the Content Editor at KQ Hub Africa to put more context on this who will later moderate the panel comprising of: Dennis Asiimwe – Writer & columnist ‘Musically Speaking’ , Carolyn Acen – Spoken word poet, blogger & writer and Lyrical G – First rapper to win a Pearl of Africa award
10. Miss Tourism Uganda 2019 Unveiling
Get to witness the unveiling of the 36 contestants vying for the prestigious Miss Tourism Uganda 2019 crown this Friday September 13th at Kampala Serena Hotel starting 7pm under the theme ‘’African Pride’’.
