The weekend beginning Friday 13th to Sunday 15th  December  2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

01.  Views & Vibes + Kess and Danny’s Birthday and Abhay!

Views and Vibes returns this Saturday December 14th at the Five horsemen, Nsambya and you know the deal,  Kess and Danny will be celebrating their birthday  same day. December edition is going to massive, so prepare yourselves for a nonstop party after party and birthday party combined. Catch the illest line-up of performers; Maintain (UK) Cheek-O Dread (UG), Bhayology (US), Nach Musik (DRC) and T.I.M.O (UG). It’s gonna be a mash up of Afro house, baile funk, old school hip hop, deep house, funk and house.

02.  Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards at Kampala Serena Hotel

The Trendsetters, The Icons and The Fashionistas come together for the biggest night in fashion, The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards.

With star appearances featuring THE EXTRAORDINARY Ozwald Boateng, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine with showcases from Official Ifeanyi Nwune #JanaRoos, Ipigogo House of Fashion, and the ICONI David Tlale Page and OLUCHI then get ready to watch the CLASSIC MAN Jidenna perform for the first time in Uganda.

And the ever gorgeous Vimbai Mutinhiri alongside the amazing Deedan will awesomely host The Stars at this year’s ASFAs.

03.  Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards Official after Party at Guvnor

Catch the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards official after party at Guvnor Uganda this Friday. Lots of music and entertainment from Jidenna plus Guvnor in-house Deejays; Selector Jay, VJ Baby Love, MC Mozeso, DJ Bryan among many more.

Entrance is Shs30K.

 

04.  The Lazy Pony Christmas Party

This Saturday, get to kickstart off Christmas at the Lazy Pony along Ggaba Road. Get to celebrate this holiday season as they have got; mulled wine, unusual Christmas tunes, a new terrace and if you’re lucky you might find someone to smooch under the mistletoe.

05.  Purple Parte at Spenah Beach Entebbe

This Sunday, Douglas Lwanga’s Purple Parte will be happening at Spenah Beach Entebbe starting 7am till midnight.

Catch the biggest performances from Uganda’s chart topping music super stars as they all perform on one lit stage.

 

06.  Kampala Santa Run & MTB Race

Activate Uganda has organised the Santa Hat Fun Run, Ride and Christmas Party scheduled for Sunday 15th December 2019.

Race Distances:
16km MTB (no helmet = no ride)
16km Run
9.4km Run/Walk
5km Run/walk
3km run for Kids.

Fee: 60,000 per Adult and 50,000 per kid.

07.  BUBU Festival at Kololo Airstrip

Get to Shop & Celebrate being Ugandan at the Buy Uganda Build Uganda Festival taking place this Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December at Kololo Independence ground starting 7am respectively.

Go enjoy fun activities including: Kwepena, Bulada, Duulu with lots of lucky winners, Live Music Performances, Great Food and A kids play area.

Entrance is free

 

08.  Kwepena at Legends Rugby Grounds Lugogo

The biggest multicultural celebration of African games is back, bigger and better with the Fifth edition. The venue is Legends, Lugogo to embrace  African identity as revelers play the African Way.

With African culture and customs gradually being eclipsed by Western cultures, Kwepena  is aimed to promote African sports such as Kwepena, Dduulu, Buladda, Sonko, Chokolo which are under a threat of extinction due to “modernisation”.

Come with your squad because it’s team sports. It is a child-friendly event so bring the whole family to be part of the fun. You stand a chance to win lots of amazing goodies. There’s also have a line-up of exciting Deejays who will have you grooving to lit music mixes while you have a good time. Available will be lots of Muchomo and all sorts of drinks throughout the day.

09.  Blankets and Wine Kampala Featuring Jidenna

This Sunday, get to enjoy a Picnic style, Afro-fused entertainment, fashion forward and family friendly event.

Performances will be headlined by Jidenna (the Classic man) at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Entrance is Shs100k and Early bird tickets go for Shs60K.

The event kicks off at 12 Noon.

 

10. Fally Ipupa Live in Uganda

This Friday, 13th December, Congolese lingala maestro will be performing at  Lugogo Cricket Oval and on Sunday 15th December at Arua Green Light Stadium, tickets will go for 30k ordinary, 100k VIP and 4M a table.

Gates open by 4pm.
