The year 2019 has started so far so well for the recently crowned Miss Uganda 2018/19 turned Miss World Africa, 22 year old Quin Abenakyo the currently most celebrated Busoga female.
On Tuesday 15th January, the State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda endorsed the beauty Quin on the campaign dubbed ‘’Tulambule with Quin Abenakyo’’.
The Tourism ministry took the initiative to work hand in hand with the Miss Uganda foundation so as to promote the tourism sector across the globe.
This year’s Tulambule with Quin Abenakyo will be under the theme ‘’Sharing our story in order to achieve bigger tourism numbers through the Digital Transformation Era -2019’’ and the slogan shall be ‘’Let’s tell our story well’’
The trip will begin on the 12th Feb 2019 covering eastern region districts of Jinja and Mbale all through to Karamoja region’s Kidepo National Park to the Acholi region at Murchison Falls National Park.
This campaign is in partnership with the Miss Uganda Foundation, Ministry for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities,Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Uganda Tourism Board and Uganda Wildlife Authority.
