Turkish Airlines recently announced that they will start flights from Luxor (LXR) to Istanbul and Istanbul to Luxor four times every week.
The upcoming flights are said to be launched on September 23rd 2019 with an inaugural flight.
Luxor is a city on the east bank of River Nile in southern Egypt. Its located on the site of ancient Thebes where the pharaoh’s’ heightened their power in the 11th – 16th centuries B.C. Currently, the city is surrounded by two huge, surviving ancient monuments including graceful Luxor temple and Karnak Temple, a mile on the north whereas Istanbul is major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus strait. Its old city reflects cultural influences of the many empire that ounce ruled.
