This accolade, presented in Hamburg, Germany, celebrates the airline’s innovative eco-friendly Premium Economy Kits, setting a benchmark for sustainability in the aviation industry.

The winning travel kit is designed with sustainability at its core, featuring a bag crafted from natural fabrics, reflecting Uganda’s rich traditional textures. Adorned with an embroidered golden-crowned crane, Uganda’s national bird, the kit’s contents are equally eco-conscious, including:

Revived after ceasing operations in 2001, Uganda Airlines now operates a fleet of six aircraft, serving over 20 destinations.
