Uganda’s nightlife fanatics excited about new Patoranking ‘’Wilmer’’ Album

Nigerian based and Africa’s biggest Raggae dancehall exports, Patoranking released his latest 2019 hit music album to Kampala and Uganda listeners that will see nightlife revelers dance to song after song in all happening places.

The 12- track album houses collabos from Nyashinski, Donae’O, Busiswa, Davido and many other multi-talented acts. The most celebrated tracks on the album are; Wilmer, Temperature, Nakupenda, Turn Up and Confirm; the collaboration with DaVido.




Ubuntu Connect & Evoke, Patoranking’s official representatives in Uganda; revealed that the Nigerian dancehall superstar is in plan to perform live in Kampala in October 2019.

Patoranking is an AFRIMA Best Dancehall artist for 2016. The new album was officially released to the world on May 24th 2019 by Amari Musiq/EMPIRE. FOMO for the album started with Patoranking teasing an upcoming collaboration earlier on in January and finally announced the dates with a poetic open letter to his newborn daughter WILMER.

Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie (born 27 May 1990), better known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town, Patoranking originated from Onicha Local Government Area in Ebonyi State. He started his music career doing underground collaborations with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone.He signed a record deal with K-Solo’s Igberaga Records in 2010, releasing “Up in D Club” under the outfit. Patoranking became a protégé of Dem Mama Records after collaborating with Timaya on his song “Alubarika”. In February 2014, he signed a record deal with Foston Musik and released “Girlie O”, a single that put him in the limelight. On 9 February 2015, Patoranking announced on Instagram that he signed a distribution deal with VP Records.
