UWA dispels wrong information concerning lions at Queen Elizabeth National Park

Uganda Wildlife Authority has spoken out on rumours spreading that there are no more lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park following death of eleven lions in Hamukungu fishing village recently.

The authority narrates that, after the death of the eleven lions, another pride of two adult lionesses and seven cubs have already been in place and among these comprise; tree climbing ones at Ishasha in the same park and, the king of the jungle still roars in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Therefore, those contemplating a trip to the park have something to view while carrying out tours.
