Beans are another food sauce that is enjoyed by most people in Uganda and when cooked they make bean stew /sauce. They are grown seasonally and take between 3-4 months before harvest. The delicacy is a staple food for Ugandan homestades and are enjoyed often enjoyed by each and almost every house hold.

Beans stews can be prepared in different versions giving the delicacy a wide range of tastes. The stew can be prepared with a combination of vegetables such as papaya, carrots, greens, among others. Some prefer fresh bean sauces because of their tenderness and freshness.

However the stew can also be prepared from beans that have bean stored and have developed a hard epi cap. This is the common type in local homes and trust me not, a well prepared dish of this sauce could get you mouth watering when placed on your table.
