However, the Corona Virus pandemic has left more ruin to repair and had the travel industry all bruised. Furthermore, as a way to combat the virus’ spread, a number of measures and rules have been put in place to which every traveler will have to obey while partaking any trip or travel venture.

As we get deeper into the ‘new normal’, much is yet to come aboard and modify our travel experiences. Bad though, this won’t be with immediate effect as there are still two or more seasons of turbulence afront before they can start restructuring and creating new strong basis.

The vaccination process is expected to take a larger part of the year before the pandemic slowly narrows down.

Travel to Europe will take a twist as most of the countries that need no visa to enter the Schengen area will have to ask for an ETIAS, starting late in the year 2022. This electronic request form will enable the EU to look into travellers wanting to come in, to make sure that none of them are a threat to its citizens or travel with terrorist intentions. The anticipated pre-controls will also ease the entrance upon arrival into any of the EU countries, for travelers holding an ETIAS visa.

However, the biggest change could probably be ‘Who will be able to fly’. This comes in as travel companies a fighting hard to survive the devastating after effects. A number of airline companies are already falling out of business with others waiting on government intervation.

Which passengers tomtravel will also be a new choice. This is because many rules have been implemented and others yet to be. This comes on inform of travel passport for those who will be vaccinated and other specifics.

Regardless, important to note is that there are many people around the world un willing to be vaccinated. The puzzle still stands on how this could affect the travel industry and finally play out.
