These flights will operate between every Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting July 5th 2019 following their summer schedule.

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority stresses that the second flight will be arriving in at 0545hrs and departing Entebbe at 0715hrs in addition to the current daily flights program.

Emirates Airline announced earlier in May 2019, that it will upsurge flight frequency to Entebbe with an additional three flights weekly between July 5th and September 15th, 2019.

This development came against the increased passenger numbers from Entebbe International Airport to Emirates airline global destinations of London, Dubai, Beijing, Guangzhou and New York.

The officials revealed that, flight number EK731 would oftenly depart Dubai (DXB) at 01:15hrs and arrive in Entebbe (EBB) at 05:45hrs with the return flight, EK732 departing Entebbe at 07:15hrs and arrive in Dubai at 13:45hrs.

Emirates Country Manager, John Gemin, Uganda acknowledged that destination Uganda remains a regional growth factor for the airline as Uganda is an important market for Emirates, in a region that has registered significant growth.

Between April 2018 and March 2019, the airline carried more than 90,000 passengers on the Entebbe to Dubai route thus facilitating trade, tourism and cargo exports in the years ahead.

It should be recalled that, Emirates Airline commenced Entebbe International Airport flights in March 2000 with three flights interlinked with Nairobi, Addis Ababa before finally being delinked hence the birth of direct flights from Dubai to Entebbe.
