On July 01st 2018, Ethiopian Airlines commenced flights to Barcelona, the company’s 13th destination in Europe with their ultra modern B787 -800 Dreamliner. This came as a result of expansion of flights services due to increased demand on the global network.
Barcelona is the capital and largest city of Catalonia and second most populous municipality of Spain. It is also said to be the second largest trade fair and exhibition Centre in Europe.
Barcelona is Ethiopian Airlines second destination in Spain after Madrid and the 13th city in the company’s European network.
Commencement of flights to Barcelona will provide seamless connectivity options for business people as well as tourists from Barcelona to the extensive African network of 58 destinations via the airlines’ main hub in Addis Ababa.
