The weekend beginning Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.
As always at Guide2Uganda we shall do our best to summarize for you all the events so that you can make up your pick. Here is what’s happening on the Events Calender this Weekend.
01. Tusker Lite Neon Rave happening this Saturday in Fort Portal
The Tusker Lite Neon Rave party will be happening in Fort Portal this Saturday May 18th at Gardens Café.
There will be a lit neon experience with epic Deejays, Artistes, Neon Dancers, Fun Games and a Silent 3D Cinema.
Entrance will be Shs 10k and comes with 2 Tusker Lites.
02. Club Amnesia Campus Night with Fik Fameica
Uganda’s most celebrated rapper Fik Fameica will this Thursday premiere his latest music video ‘’Tobiloberamu’’ at Club Amnesia Campus night.
Catch lots of amazing performances and music mixes from Galaxy FM deejays.
Free Entrance for Campusers with a valid ID.
03. The Social Rooftop Rave at Garden City Rooftop
The social Rooftop Rave is back in another epic edition for this year, this time around happening at Garden City Rooftop featuring Aero Manyelo –South Africa’s King of Afro – Techno house music.
Aero Manyelo will be accompanied by Deejays such as Gil Low from Rwanda, Izaya from Uganda, Catu Diosis from Uganda, Dogu of Ancient Astronauts from Germany, and Dry Spinner from Belgium.
Music Genres to be played comprise; House, Techno, Trap, Psy Trance, Grime & Electro , Tech, Deep house and Break Beat,
Entry Fee: Shs 20k and Shs 30K for VIP.
04. Into THE Dome happening at ONE54, Gaba Road
Hatari Voltage Kampala & Bottoms Up will this Saturday host a night themed ‘’Into the Dome’’ at ONE54 bar, located along Gaba Kasanga Road.
Into the Dome Kampala edition is an ultimate indoor electronic music experience combining a quality line-up of acclaimed artists, visual art and visual projections.
Dj Line ; Moroto Hvy Indstr(GRC), Donzilla (UG), HOLA JEFE(UG/USA), Faizal Mostrixx(UG)
and Qwasa Qwasa (BE) as Guest Dj will be Amare (BE).
Entrance is Shs. 10K Early bird on Xente and Shs 20K at the door.
05. Street dance Battles happening at Sharing Hall Nsambya
This years’ street dance battles is on and happening at Nsambya Sharing hall and youth centre this Thursday. Catch and participate in epic dance strokes and stand a chance to walk away with Shs 2 Million among other prizes.
Contestants will register for free and revelers will part with Shs 5K for Entrance.
06. Rooftop Sundowner Party at Goethe Zentrum Kampala
Goethe Zentrum Kampala will this Friday host The Rooftop Sundowners on the GZK/UGCS rooftop terrace as they will be ushering you into the weekend.
Get down to party as you meet up with new friends, grab some Muchomo, listen to great music and dance till wee hours while enjoying a mix of great hits in genres of Afrobeat, Local, Dancehall, House and GQOM from one of the best DJs in town DJ Ssese starting 6pm.
07. Bell Jamz Hostel Silent Disco End Of Semester Edition at Ideal Platinum hostel
Bell Jamz will this Saturday host the Hostel silent disco end of semester edition at Ideal Platinum Hostel in Mubs.
Go prepared to party with 12 DJs playing the hottest and lit Jamz at just only Shs 10k as you wind up the semester in style.
08. Positive Live Band Night at Rock Bar
The Positive Live Band Night will be on this Thursday at Rock bar, Speke hotel starting 8pm. Get to dance, sing and enjoy listening to great melodies to wind up your evening and sooth memories. Lots of sizzling Entertainment and amazing discounts on eats and drinks.
09. CIPA’s Comedy Night Featuring Pablo at GEMS Cambridge International School
Cambridge International Parents Association Committee will be hosting a Charity Auction and Comedy night this Saturday at GEMS CIK, starting from 7:30pm.
Ticket sales at the School go for Shs50K each includes a drink, dinner and entertainment.
10. Guvnor Saturday Night Fever
Here’s a proggie for you this Saturday, get to dance in the ultimate Guvnor Saturday night fever as Deejays; Dash, Bryan, VJ Baby Love, and MC Mozeso take you on a night long musical trip.
Dress code is Smart causal, entrance is Shs30, 000 and Showtime is 9pm.
