The weekend beginning Friday 07th to Sunday  09th  May  2021 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social and digital scene with a number of events lined up for the different individuals right from digital  events to tours and E-Conference events.

01. New Music SA Concert #3 Digital Indaba ’21             

This Saturday May 8th, be part of the New Music SA Concert season 3 in the Ondaba 2021 online edition.

New Music SA, in collaboration with the National Arts Council and the Rupert Music Foundation, presents the third concert of its Digital Indaba 2021 Concert Series: A selected programme of works including the second movement of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony arranged for piano trio, a new commission for voice and piano trio from Neo Muyanga, and works from Amy Crankshaw, Lungiswa Plaatjies, and Matthijs van Dijk – performed by Lungiswa Plaatjies (voice), Matthijs van Dijk (violin), Graham du Plessis (cello) & David Lubbe (piano).

This Facebook live event is hosted by the Youngblood Gallery and starts at 8pm.

02. Mother’s Day Popup Market at Dancing Cup, Bugolobi

This Mother’s Day popup Market will feature unique fashion and accessories as well as great gifts every mother will love. Be part of the Event at Dancing Cup, Bugolobi starting 10am till 4pm.

Expect to taste over 40 foods and Gift Exhibitors this Saturday May 8th 2021.

Artisans include Elle Reve, Sseko Designs, Akola, 4 Africa, Jakana Foods, Ramaya Koncepts, Power Bloom, One and Only, quilters of northern Uganda, and more.
