Top 10 Events happening in Uganda this Weekend

The weekend beginning Friday 1st  to Sunday 3rd March  2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

As always at Guide2Uganda we shall do our best to summarize for you all the events so that you can make up your pick. Here is what’s happening on the Events Calender this Weekend.

 

01.  Above and below happening at The Five horsemen

Above and Below celebrates balance, contrast and perspective; approaching the search for higher concepts, light and inspiration; while embracing the hunger for the deep, dark, warm and unknown.

Catch the musical and visual journey through consciousness, both above and below at the Five horsemen located along Kansanga, Gaba road for a full Bashment, Grime, Dance hall, Deep house, Trap and Hip hop musical affair.

The event will be taking place this Friday 1st March as entrance is UGX15K.

02.  Blues & Booze at the Big Kafunda

Big Kafunda will be hosting a night dubbed Blues and Booze. Get to enjoy nonstop rhythms and blues on their happy hour session from 4pm till 8pm as you dodge around Kampala traffic.

The big Kafunda is located along Gaba road opposite bank of Baroda.

 

03.  Kampala Night Market March Edition 2019

This Friday, catch the Kampala Night Market for the 2019 edition that will take  place at One Ten on 7th street, Industrial area.

The Kampala Night Market showcases many unique businesses that call Kampala home.

Expect lots of blending food, culture, music, drinks and retail as entrance is free for all.

The market will be open starting 5PM

 

04.  Kings of Club at Valhalla Bar, Nakasero

Valhalla bar and restaurant will be hosting the first ever Kampala kings of Club edition. The night will have deejays Matt and Andrey spin discs as this will continue to every first Friday of the month.

Doors open at 8PM

 

05.  Stage play ‘’Abakazi Simere’’ at Theatre La Bonita this Friday

Catch the first edition for 2019 of ‘’Abakazi Simere’’, a stage play that will be showing at Theatre La Bonita this Friday 1st March 2019 starting 7pm.

The play features; Senga Justine Nantume, Sophie Gombya, Mariam Ndagire, Winnie Nwagi, and Sharon Kaka.

Tickets go for UGX20, 000 (Early Birds), Rest : 25,000 & 30,000

 

06.  Sheebah Karungi at Club Amnesia

This Thursday, Sheebah Karungi will be premiering her latest music video titled ‘’Exercise’’ at the Club Amnesia campus night.

The Queen Karma will be joined by Galaxy Fm Deejays as they will be mixing great vibes all night long.

Entrance is free to campusers with valid IDs.

 

07.   Bell Jamz hostel Silent Disco gamer’s edition at Ideal Hostel

This Sunday, Bell Jamz will be hosting the 2nd edition of the silent disco night this time around ‘’Gamers Edition’’ at Ideal Hostel near MUBS.

Get to know who the top gamers at your University are while you battle out in the ultimate campus FIFA 19 tournament as they will be moving to different hostels with a UGX5 Million reward for the final champion.

The Hostel Silent Disco Gamers Edition will also feature 12 DJs playing the hottest and coolest  jams at just UGX10, 000 Entrance.

 

08.  Pallaso “WINE & WINE” Video Premier at DNA Lounge

Catch Pallaso this Saturday 2nd March at DNA Lounge, Kololo as he premieres his latest music video ‘’Wine and Wine’’.

All celebrities will be in the house as Showtime is 8pm.

 

09.   Dj Nimrod’s Naughty Singles Glow Edition happening this Sunday

The Dj Nimrod’s Naughty singles glow edition will be happening this Sunday at Club Amnesia.

Get to party with Kampala’s super star deejay as revelers are allowed to drop in with their Muzinga.

There will be lots of partying and slaying as Showtime is 8PM.

 

10.  Funky Friday – Hoops, Hops & Ropes at Design Hub

This Friday, Design Hub will be hosting another edition for Funky Friday. Get to enjoy the evening with Engero’s Hoops, hops and Ropes games, a perfect way to usher into the weekend.

The Event begins at 6PM.

Entrance will be free!
