The move dubbed, #Bwindi4GraceVilla was arranged to help raise funds for the helpless girls of the grace villa home, an orphanage centre in Kabale district.

As the norm is around every major holiday like Christmas and the Easter season, this time around Bwindi Impenetrable forest was the major focus on the trek and hike agenda.

The movement started with a scenic drive from Kampala via Fort portal tea plantations with an early luncheon at Lake Nkuruba in Fort Portal, where some also had a chance to swim in the Crater Lake.

Next destination was Kanungu where the whole amazing journey was activated on Good Friday with an average 26 kilometres cover through the Bwindi Impenetrable forests with stop overs at the three catchment area water falls through the major Valleys and hills connecting to Kisoro communities with a maximum of 8 hours of the walk down from where they ended the day at Rushaga Gorilla Camp where dinner and camp fire spiced up the tiresomeness.

Saturday was another awesome experience which started with a Gorilla tracking experience and a walk down through the Batwa neighbours enjoying every bit of what nature has to offer in the cold and hilly region.

A visit to the Bakiga Cultural museum tour at Kwanzi in Kabale and the Grace Villa home concluded the entire trip with donations and financial support towards the girls of grace villa.

The orphanage has up to 215 girls they take care of and through joining efforts, its one way the young people have to be helped.
