Tourism & Trade Committee visits Lake Mburo National Park

Members of Parliament seating on the Tourism and Trade Committee spent their Friday on a familiarization trip at Lake Mburo National Park led by the State Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Hon. Martin Magara Bahinduka and hosted by UWA Executive Director Sam Mwanda.

During the visit, the Hon. Martin Mugara tabled Uganda Wildlife Authority’s capacity to generate more revenue from park visits if its sealing was improved and budget supported, roads and accommodation inadequacy worked on.

NAVIO Represents at the 66th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles

Navio, a renowned rapper and hip-hop sensation from Uganda, received a distinguished invitation from the prestigious Grammy Academy to represent his country at the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony.

The grand event was held at the magnificent Crypto.com Arena, a state-of-the-art venue located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles in the United States of America. This was a remarkable opportunity for Navio to showcase his remarkable talent and represent Uganda on an international stage.

King Saha Electrifies fans as Tales Lounge Opens to Kampalites

Last weekend, renowned and highly gifted Ugandan artist, King Saha, delivered an exhilarating performance at Tales Lounge, located in the upscale Bukoto, a Kampala suburb. The lounge officially opened its doors to the public and Kampala’ nightlife skies as it was packed with enthusiastic fans who couldn’t wait to see the musician in action.

From the moment King Saha took the stage, the atmosphere was electric. The fans were instantly mesmerized by his soulful voice, and impeccable stage presence. He performed his most popular hits, including “Biri Biri,” “Mpa Love,” ‘’Zakayo’’ and “Ssala Puleesa,” among others. The crowd went wild, singing along, dancing, and waving their hands in the air.

The mood was vibrant and lively, and the lounge was filled. King Saha’s performance was a perfect match for Tales Lounge, which boasts a chic and modern ambiance, complete with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. The fans were ecstatic, and many of them stayed till the wee hours of the morning, enjoying the music, drinks, and company of their friends.

Kampala’s Party Lords Grace Guvnor’s Saturday Night Fever

Over the weekend, Guvnor Uganda played host to one of the most sought-after nightlife themes in Kampala, the “Saturday Night Fever”. The night was a big hit among nightlife enthusiasts who came out in masses to enjoy an unforgettable night of music and entertainment. The DJs on the decks were nothing short of amazing, with FEM, Bryan, Lynda Ddane, Selector Jeff, and VJ Baby Love delivering an electrifying blend of music mixes that had the crowd on their feet all night long.

The night was also made more exciting by the presence of MC Moses Kays, who kept the energy levels high with his impeccable hyping skills. His ability to connect with the crowd was truly remarkable. All in all, it was a night to remember, and it’s safe to say that “Saturday Night Fever” is indeed one of the longest-running and most popular nightlife themes in Guvnor Uganda.

Quintet Band thrills Revelers at Ruts Café & Lounge

Last week, Quintet Band promised and delivered a mesmerizing performance at Ruts Café and Lounge in Namugongo, a suburb of Kampala.

The band started with an electrifying performance at 7 pm, taking the audience down memory lane with classic hits and modern-day ballads. The crowd sang along, danced and cheered on the band.

This Wednesday, February 14th, Ruts Café and Lounge is hosting a special Valentine’s Day treat with a cozy menu, and selection of throat-smoothing wines to make your day memorable with your loved ones.
