Serena listed among top most loved hotels by Royalty

According to a July 19th article by CNN Travel, Kampala Serena hotel was ranked 5th globally among seven most loved hotels by royalty in their guide to travelers seeking to travel in the “royals ’regal footsteps”.

Serena takes fifth place among the seven considered hotels sort to be the royals’ favorite when they travel.

“High-profile guests praise the exceptional service, as it’s impossible to leave this much-loved flagship Serena resort without being enchanted by the genuine warmth of Ugandan hospitality,” the CNN Travel said.

Serena is a diplomatic reservation in the heart of Uganda’s capital Kampala, with architecture and design influenced by the country’s cultural and natural heritage whose rooms and suites are elegantly furnished boasting an impressive collection by local artisans.

Having been opened on 31 July 2006, the hotel has hosted many dignitaries from all over the world key of them being Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh in 2007, Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan, Princess Zahra Aga Khan, Mswati III of Swaziland and King of Eswatini.

The five star hotel boosts of 188 guestrooms and suites, one of which is a presidential suite and is part of the Serena Hotels Group in East Africa.
