Kampala, 03rd Apr, 2017 – It was an evening of fun and excitement as United Bank for Africa (UBA) Uganda unveiled their new head office, Jinja road  and prestige branches. The head office, relocated from its old premises next to spear house, features larger premises and expanded services to better serve customers.

The new premises were officially opened at a cocktail party that brought together the bank’s key partners, customers board of directors and Management of UBA Uganda. In attendance was the Retired Archbishop of the Church of Uganda – Luke Orombi, UBA Uganda Managing Director Johnson Agoreyo, Board Chairman UBA Uganda Dr. Ben Mbonye, the staff of UBA Uganda and other government officials.

There was a lot of merry making and networking over cocktails and bites. Jacinta and friends band put up an amazing performance that left the bankers wanting more.

 

Speaking during the event, UBA Uganda Managing Director MD Johnson Agoreyo said the bank is constantly creating, constantly evolving and striving to serve the customers better. He noted that the bank, which was one of the first banks to join the interbank ATM system currently known as interswitch intends to expand its activity by opening new branches.

UBA Uganda is a commercial bank offering a range of banking solutions to retail, corporate and institutional customers. The bank which is a subsidiary of UBA Plc currently has a network of eight branches and serves over 50,000 customers countrywide.
