My Valentine in Paradise at Theatre La Bonita

The Ebonies will perform their romantic drama ‘’My Valentine in Paradise’’ live on Friday 16th, Sat 17th, and Sun 18th February 2024. Showtime is 7:30 pm.

The entrance fee is UGX25K for ordinary and UGX30K for VIP.

Overland Outdoor Activity Adventure

GoFree Uganda Tours and Travel is hosting an overland outdoor adventure this Saturday starting at 10 am.

The day will include a variety of activities such as a boat cruise, a biking experience, and a swimming break.

The event will begin with a boat ride across Lake Victoria to Murchison Bay at the Ggaba landing boat site. From there, participants will move on to a biking expedition at the Bule landing site. Afterward, there will be a relaxing lunch break at the Lunch Rest Resort. The activities will end at 4 pm.

The fee for the event is US$50 (UGX192K).

Damage Party at Vegas Chillout Bar & Restaurant

Kawempe’s most popular hangout Vegas Chillout Bar and Restaurant will be hosting a damage pants affair this Friday starting at 8 pm.

The night will feature Mun G. Music policy will be executed by DJs Micheal, Kay, and Neithan. MCs will include Urban, Bry P, and Mats.

Come dressed in your swankiest damaged outfits as entrance is free.

World Pangolin Day at Encanto Tapas bar

Encanto Tapa Bar, in partnership with Faces Up Uganda and Biodiversity Alliance, will host an event to mark World Pangolin Day this Saturday from 6pm to 7pm.

The event aims to raise awareness about these beautiful mammals and stand up for their protection. During the day, there will be an art exhibition and photography sessions.

EPRC@30 Medical Camp

The Economic Policy Research Centre and Makerere University have partnered to organize a medical camp that will run from February 15th to 16th, 2024.

The medical camp is a part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations of the Economic Policy Research Centre and will provide free medical services to the public. The medical camp promises to be an excellent opportunity for individuals to receive medical care. It will commence each day from 8 am to 6 pm and will be staffed with experienced and qualified medical professionals.

The medical camp will offer a wide range of services, including general check-ups, screening, and treatment of illnesses. The event is open to everyone who needs medical attention and aims to provide access to medical services to people who may not have the means to afford them. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals to take advantage of free medical services and receive professional medical care.

Explore Busoga Domestic Tourism Campaign

The Explore Busoga domestic tourism campaign kicked off on Thursday, February 15th, and will run until Sunday, February 18th, 2024.

Spearheaded by Hon. Martin Mugara Bahinduka, the state minister for Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities, the campaign seeks to promote domestic tourism in Busoga region, Eastern Uganda. It also features several celebrity influencers who are lending their star power to encourage people to explore Busoga.

These influencers include Dr. Jose Chameleon, John Blaq, Golola Moses a famous kickboxer, Miss Tourism, Voyce Nancy, Baby Job, and Isah K Omuyimbi Wa Band. In addition to these celebrity influencers, the campaign also involves various local artists and leaders who are working together to showcase the beauty and unique culture of Busoga.

The campaign aims to create awareness of the region’s tourism potential and encourage Ugandans to explore their own country. With the help of celebrity influencers and local artists, the campaign hopes to attract more tourists to the region and promote sustainable tourism practices.

African Vibes Fridays at Cat Walk Lounge

Cat Walk Lounge in Kololo will host the African Vibes Fridays, hosted by African Simba. The event will celebrate the journey of African music with renowned DJs such as DVJ Mercy Pro, Roja, Katso, Ashley, Twizzy Vybz, and MCs Perrie and Topboy. They will provide incredible entertainment to usher you into the weekend.

Friday Night Rave at Ruts Café & Lounge

Ruts Lounge and Café hosts an all-night Rave this Friday, featuring the swankiest urban DJs.

Saturday Night Fever at Guvnor Uganda

The Saturday night Fever will be going down at Guvnor Uganda this weekend. Prepare for a night journey full of urban vibes featuring VJ Baby love, Selector Jay, DJ Lynda Ddane among others.

Doors open at 9pm.
