Ykee Benda, Kenzo Coke Studio performances excite fans.

Last week, one of Uganda’s brightest prospects, Ykee Benda, excited fans with his performance in the third episode of the 2017 Coke Studio Africa. Working with Mozambique’s beloved Mr. Bow and Zimbabwe’s world famous Jah Prayzah, Ykee kicks off the Big Break track center stage clad in an African print shirt and matching fedora.

Tanzanian Boss, Izzo Bizness, and Kenya’s stunning talent, Avril, were the week’s headline artists whereas South African superstar Shekhinah, and Ethiopian rockstars Jano Band, worked together on the Coke Studio Africa Throwback.

This weekend, African music giants Eddy Kenzo from Uganda and Bisa K’dei from Ghana joined up to discover more about each other’s music on their quest to make a brand new original mega hit for the forth episode of the music mashup series.

Other big names in this week’s episode include Kenyan hip hop icon, Khaligraph Jones, Nigerian Superstar Patoranking and Tanzanian hit maker Ali Kiba.

Khaligraph Jones partners with Rwandan R&B heavyweight, Bruce Melody for the Coke Studio Africa Throwback and Togo’s own star-on-the-rise, Ozane, partners with Patoranking and Alikiba, in this week’s Big Break.

Coke Studio Africa is a non-competitive music collaboration show, which seeks to bring together, and celebrate the diversity of African music and talent. It also gives upcoming artistes the opportunity to work with some of the best local and international music and production talent. It brings together artistes from different genres, eras and regions to create a modern and authentic African sound through musical fusion.
