Over 20 travelers rewarded with special Valentine’s Day treat from Taxify

Valentine’s Day, known to many as the day for sharing love and exchanging gifts to friends, loved ones and parents was celebrated yesterday 14th February across the globe.

In Uganda, Estonia based ride hailing app, Taxify started an online campaign that would see riders celebrate their Valentine’s day in style on 5th February under the harshtag #ILoveYouBut,  that witnessed participants  receive special valentines dinner  treat  at silver springs hotel, Kampala on valentine’s day.

Over 20 participants together with their loved ones experienced a glamorous evening as they were treated to a gifts and dinner session after expressing their feelings to loved ones.

 

Commenting about the campaign, Taxify marketing manager, Sarah Wanyanga said; ‘’ The campaign allowed travelers who use the app to share all the things that irk them about the people they love (could be your brother, best friend, parent or even a lover) and we thought  this is a nice way of celebrating valentine’s day with them’’.
